Locally Made Equipment for Local Experiences

If you have been a part of our community since our start in 2012, you know how important supporting local creators is to us at 1A. Whether it was crowdfunding to give artisans the support they needed to scale their work, or giving visibility to local small businesses through our Inside Yerevan maps, we believe quality Armenian products, businesses, and creators deserve to be shared with the world.  

That is why when we began developing extraordinary travel experiences two years ago, we knew that we wanted to tap into local talent to create products for tourists that were authentic and that supported the work of Armenian artisans. 

For example, we went to the only barrel maker in Armenia to create barrels that will store the mead, aka honey wine, for an upcoming experience all about Armenian beekeeping that we incubated with Arm Bee Honey Farm.
